Out visit with Annie at Twinsburg, Ohio, on December 28, 2013, was preceded by her visit to Marietta , Ohio, on December 2, 2013, to meet me and to visit the future development site of Ohio Outdoor Heaven at 779 Arends Ridge Road, Marietta, Ohio. The introduction of Annie to me was done by Arthur Fayne, from Cleveland, Ohio; Arthur and I had been communicating about the Ohio Outdoor Heaven project starting in September, 2013.
The first time I met Annie, I knew that we had so many things in common. Annie is an exceptional person and also an exception to the rule She is no ordinary Chinese and Chinese Lady. In many ways Annie reminds me of my mother, Madame Shao Fang Sheng. Annie is very versatile and creative in all what she does. She is a bridge builder without hesitation and bring together talented people from all around the world to work together in harmony.
This time, when we met Annie at Twinsburg, Ohio, she introduced to us a few Chinese colleagues who also were interested to either invest or introduce others to introduce partners to help build our destination place, called Ohio Outdoor Heaven. It was a Divine Intervention because the colleagues that she had introduced to us, knew many people that we also knew from years ago.
The meeting went very well. A special treat also was to meet Annie’s family members, daughter- Diana and son -Frank, who is a Freshman at Ohio University. In addition we also met a very interesting and unique lady name Cynthia, who designs and created lady and gentleman hats for all occasions.
My family commented that Annie has the Latin Hospitality; so warm and gregarious.
I look forward to working with Annie Pu and her colleagues on our projects, such as Ohio Outdoor Heaven. There is a saying in Chinese, “Friends first before Business”. Relationship is an ongoing and ever-changing matter. Sharing the same vision is built on understanding and spiritual bonding.
Annie and her newspaper, The Erie Chinese Journal, are helping many people from all walks of life to have access to both Asian and American opportunities.
